Also, what is the mindset required for those who want to become web designers in the future ? I want students to reaffirm their strengths and interests through practical learning.
-- Please introduce yourself and tell us about your current job duties.
Aono: After joining the company, I worked for about five years at Mynavi Creator, supporting companies with their recruitment needs. Currently, I am involved in a wide range of activities, including career counseling for job seekers, speaking at seminars, and running the portfolio creation service " MATCHBOX ."
Kubota: I've been a freelance web director for 10 years now. I'm also a graduate of Digital Hollywood, and studied web design for six months after graduating from university. I'm currently a lecturer and in charge of workshops.
Yano: I am involved in running classes and creating curriculum at Digital Hollywood Studio Shinjuku. I also act as a career counselor, helping each student achieve their goals by helping them decide what they can achieve through our school's curriculum.
--What is the "Super Practical Employment/Career Change Plan for Web Designer Majors" (hereinafter referred to as the "Super Practical Class") offered by Digital Hollywood and Mynavi Creators?
Yano: This is a practical course where students are challenged with "client work," which is an actual corporate project. Over the course of six months, students will achieve three accomplishments while studying: a paper project, a web project, and a graduation project. Classes are limited to 15 students, and practical lessons are held about twice a month. Also, 80% of the students are inexperienced. Professor Kubota is the web teacher, and Mynavi is involved as a web media client.
