On demographic trends

Post by rifat28dddd »

I would like to draw your attention to the analytical article by our partner Talgat Yergaliyev "CONSUMER MARKETS: imbalance" , which was published in the business publication National Business (No. 6, 2011). The article provides a deep analysis of the state and trends of consumer markets in Kazakhstan based on statistics, research, and expert assessments from 2005-2011. I will provide several quotes.

"Starting at 17, there is a substitution effect by a more numerous ireland cell phone number list next generation. Thus, the ratio of the age of "17-29" to "30-41", "30-41" to "42-53",
"42-53" to "54-65" in 2010 was 1.4, 1.13 and 1.79, respectively. On the one hand, this indicates the possibility of replacing jobs as older generations leave the workforce. On the other hand, and this is more objective, a situation of shortage in the labor market and growth of unemployment is likely in the context of long-term work activity and problems with the annual creation of a large number of new jobs.

The arrival of more numerous younger generations does not imply an equivalent increase in the number of solvent consumers. What can this mean for consumer markets? The number of consumers is growing every year, and they come armed with knowledge of modern and new products and brands. However, their purchasing power depends not only on awareness, which is certainly important, but also on a steady income and/or the ability
to obtain consumer and other loans. And here lies the systemic error of consumer markets - the number of jobs or projects where one can earn money is limited for new generations.
All the good places are taken...
